Calhoun County Groundwater Conservation District Notice of Proposed Permit Issuance Notice is hereby given in accordance with Rule 12.2: NOTICE AND SCHEDULING RELATED TO HEARINGS AND PROPOSED PERMIT ISSUANCE of the Rules of the District that the Calhoun County Groundwater Conservation District proposes to issue a production permit authorizing the production of groundwater from a water well for non-exempt uses on March 31, 2026. Mr. Benjamin Brown for Wildlife Water Alliance seeks, under permitting request case PRC-20250911-01, a standard-capacity non-historic-use production permit authorizing the production of groundwater from a proposed well for wildlife management uses at rates not to exceed 3.125 gallons per minute or 1 acre-foot per year. The subject well will be located on a 20-acre tract of land near the intersection of Deer Meadow Lane and Camino Escondito in Calhoun County, Texas. Any person who intends to contest a permit application must provide written notice of that intent to the District at P.O Box 69 Victoria, TX 77902 at least three calendar days prior to the proposed date of permit issuance as published in this public notice.
