Public Hearing Notice Pursuant to Chapter 36, Texas Water Code, the Texana Groundwater Conservation District will conduct a public hearing on July 16, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the LNRA Headquarters, Building C, 4631 F.M. 3131, Edna, Texas. This hearing will be conducted to receive public input concerning the proposed rule revisions designated the 2026 Proposed Rules of the District. The proposed rules specify the regulations related to drilling and plugging water wells, registration of water wells, permitting groundwater production, historic-use of groundwater, non-historic-use of groundwater, high-capacity nonhistoric-use of groundwater, non-historic-use of deep-saline (brackish) groundwater, groundwater transfer, waivers and petitions regarding groundwater regulations, curtailment of groundwater production, district fees, enforcement of regulations, and procedures related to proceedings. A copy of the proposed rules of the Texana Groundwater Conservation District may be reviewed or copied at the District’s office located at the Crossroads Plaza, Ste 103, 1501 E. Mockingbird Lane, Victoria, Texas. In addition, the proposed rules of the Texana Groundwater Conservation District are available on the District’s website at www.texanagcd.org.
