THE CITY OF VICTORIA CODE ENFORCEMENT December 17, 2025 Notice of Public Hearing for Unsafe Buildings proposed to be Repaired, Secured, or Demolished and Subjected to Liens. Officials of the City of Victoria (“City”) have inspected the below-referenced properties and determined that buildings thereon appear to violate Sections 5-176 and 5-177 of Article XIV, Unsafe Buildings of the Victoria City Code, and should be demolished in accordance with said Article, Texas Local Government Code 214.00, and other laws and ordinances. There will be a public hearing before the Victoria Building and Standards Commission at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 20, 2026. The hearing will be held at 700 Main, Suite 205. The purpose of the hearing is to determine whether the structures comply with the standards of the Victoria City Code. According to the real property records of Victoria County, the persons named below own or have interest in the real property described in this notice. If you no longer own or have interest in the property, you must execute an affidavit stating the name and last known address of the person who acquired the property from you. The affidavit must be delivered in person or by certified mail, return receipt requested, to the Code Enforcement Division office located at 700 Main, Suite 117, Victoria Texas, no later than the 20 th day after the date this is published. If the persons named below do not send the affidavit, it will be presumed that they own or have interest in the Property described herein. An owner or interested party of the Property will be required to submit proof at the hearing of the scope of any work (demolition, repair, moving, securing) that may be required to comply with the City Code and the time it will take to reasonably perform such work. Failure to present such information may result in one or more buildings on the Property being ordered, repaired, removed, or demolished by the City. If a person with legal interest in the building fails to perform such action in accordance with the order, then the City may perform such action through its officers, employees, agents, contractors, or subcontractors, and place a lien on the Property in accordance with Texas Government Code 214.001. This Notice of Public Hearing additionally is an Order of the City’s Director of Development Services that the buildings on the Property designated below be abated in accordance with Victoria City Code Section 5-181. Each Property shall be considered to include all improvements and structures located at the below-described addresses.
